It is one of the most famous pastry shops in Egypt. It opened its first branch in 1975 in the Garden City area. The restaurant offers a variety of sweets and fresh pastries. In 1994, La Poire Café was added to the chain and its first branch was opened in the Shooting Club area in Mohandessin, Giza
